What a blustery, snowy, yes I said snowy day we had for Ayn & Kate's Engagement Session. As I drove to their home for their session I watched this crazy snow cloud make its way over the beautiful Pioneer Valley skyline. Ahhh....New England Weather...You can love it or hate it! I think most who live here LOVE it and adapt...But really Snow in October...By the time I got to Ayn & Kate's home the cloud had opened up and we caught a few minutes of white chunks of snow on their back porch. It was actually kinda magical and I loved watching Ayn & Kate enjoy it. Russet, their bulldog, didn't know what to make of it! He was such a ham for the camera and I wanted to kidnap him and call him mine. He is so awesome.
Seriously....Ayn & Kate have this amazing electricity between them. I hardly had to tell them to do anything romantic or snuggle because they naturally just did it. I so adored how Ayn looked at Kate and kissed her constantly. One of my most favorite thing about engagement sessions is that I get to know the couples more and they can start to relax in front of the camera. AND....I love to hear how couples meet and listening to how each one has a different interpretation of their first encounter. One thing for sure...Sparks Flew when they first met! Ayn and Kate's love began one evening when Ayn went to the Tunnel Bar in Northampton, Massachusetts and her eyes laid upon the sweet and sparkling personality of Kate. They really are perfect for each other and I am so happy to call them my friends.
Their love for Northampton really set the backdrop for their session and I literally could have taken their photos all day but we wrapped up at the Tunnel Bar. The place where their true love began.....Ayn & Kate I wish you both so much love and happiness and so thankful to document your sweet love!
