Bancroft Castle Engagement | April & Adam
There once was a beautiful princess with flowing auburn hair who lived in a castle high upon Gibbet Hill in Groton, Massachusetts. Her name was April. She loved to draw and use her creative imagination to produce amazing demonstrations within comic books. She met her Prince Charming Adam there on Sunday and he swept her off her feet. BUT this did not come easy. Adam was not prepared for what April had in store for him. She battled him fiercley to prove he was worthy of her love. He valiantly won her over by saving her from a ferocious T-Rex who lived underneath her castle. This immediately melted April into Adam's arms and they lived happily ever after.
OK - for real - April and Adam's story is SO much like a fairy tale. I was able to document not only their love during their engagement session - but their individual personalities and what looked like a perfect combination of sweet and genuine LOVE. When I asked them to bring props to their engagement session that would represent them as a couple - I was blown away by their choices. We had light sabers and other weapons of destruction from a video game that Adam enjoyed. Then there was sweet April who brought her sketch book and pencils. My heart just about flipped as I watched April draw Adam while sitting in the abandoned window sills of the 1906 Bancroft Castle. And last but not least they brought a T-Rex. Well not a real one...but a pretty good size one that we tried to incorporate into their engagement session photos. Honestly it was the perfect venue for all of their props! I could not have asked for a cooler couple! April and Adam had these amazing moments of tenderness that they expressed for each other that was so quiet and genuine...It took my breath away...I was witnessing TRUE LOVE.
April and Adam - I had an absolute blast with you both. Thank you so much for being so cooperative with the weather conditions as well. You honestly made my job so easy. I cannot wait for your wedding in July. Its going to be AMAZING!!!
