Forest Park, Springfield, MA | Amanda & Matt's Snowy Engagement Session | March 10, 2018

When I first met Amanda on the phone I knew she was going to be ONE FUN BRIDE. Then I met Matt and I knew exactly why these two fell for each other. They both have the biggest hearts, love to laugh, full of adventure and would do anything for anyone.....OMG. I still have one of the biggest smiles on my face thinking of their Engagement Session. First it was a COLD day BUT it did NOT phase these two lovebirds one bit - well maybe at the end when they were shivering in a farm field...LOL...

We started our session at Forest Park in Springfield which is not that far from Amanda and Matt's home. There was some snow that had fallen a few days before but it wasn't too much and made their wishes for a Snowy Engagement Session come true. I will admit I am not really familiar with Forest Park BUT we were able to find some really beautiful spots that even if there was a dirt patch  - Matt & Amanda would make it look like something out of Narnia. I am not kidding. They really are so in love and I have never laughed so hard with their sweet interactions, adventure and constant laughter. They brought along their fur baby who definitely is loved to pieces. You can tell that they are animal lovers - especially when during their session a random dog totally photo bombed them and asked for some major petting time.

I think my favorite part of an Engagement Session is when my couples incorporate themselves from their daily lives or something that is sentimental to them.  Matt is a firefighter in Chicopee and brought along some of his gear. I loved watching Amanda's sweet admiration for Matt once he put some of his firefighting gear on. The sun peeked out just in time and that glow that I love made for some really beautiful portraits. It didn't even look like it was 25 degrees out...(insert teeth chattering)!

As the sun was setting we raced (no lie we were speeding) over to a farmer's field and popped open some bubbly. The backdrop in the field was so New England and I will admit it is one of my most favorite photos I have taken. I love landscapes and people and when I can use the environment to showcase all of this it is complete perfection to me! We ended our session at a nearby golf course where the pink and orange hues of the sun setting embraced Amanda & Matt's silhouette. GAH!! So Perfect!

I am excited to showcase a few of my favorites from Amanda & Matt's Snowy Engagement Session. I am equally excited to be a part of their wedding day in October of this year! Lots of love to you Amanda & Matt. I can't wait for our next adventure together!
